Always Visualize Success (AVS)

Join AVS & Friends as we support the Annual Labor Day weekend ride. AVS will be riding on the B-Side of the groove party. Avg pace will be 17-19 mph and will work to regroup or soft pedal after climbs to keep those who want to stay connected. We will stop at Badens Store mile 25 and stop at the end of Croom Rd at the Safeway mile 42 before the push back to the start.

For those that want the Party groove on the A-Side please roll ahead with front group plenty of smoke 💨 is available 😃

Group Ride Guidelines:

1. Safety first
2. Bicyclists who participate on any AVS hosted or partner supported rides are required to wear a properly fastened helmet.
3. Bicyclists may not ride more than two (2) abreast and may not impede traffic.
4. Bicyclists must come to a complete stop at all stop signs and traffic lights displaying a red signal.
5. Bicyclists are expected to have their bikes in proper working order.
6. Bicyclists are expected to ride with repair equipment in the event for flat tire, etc.
7. Bicyclists should bring adequate nutrition to include enough hydration and snacks.
8. At night, bicycles must be equipped with a front white light and a rear red reflector or red light visible, both visible from 600 feet away.

For some of our Northern Virginia riders our cycling family from District Cycling Collective & Zephyrus Bikes LLC present Wednesday Night Rydes!!

This weekly ride will be led by our own Jeff Walden, owner of Zephyrus bikes. We will be Meeting in the parking lot of the Giant Foods at 5pm and rolling at 5:30 pm.

This will be a no drop ride, but is NOT a ride for beginners. Steady pace and climbs in spots.

Riders should be comfortable with group and street riding . The pace for this ride will be a minimum of 18 mph. There is a considerable amount of climbing. All riders will be riding at their own risk, there will be NO SAG.
