Friends & Miles 2025 DMV Memorial Ride

You're invited to pedal and groove with some DMV All-Stars for the annual Memorial Ride. This traditional ride spans over 30 years. Your participation keeps it alive.

When = Sunday, May 25, 2025

Meetup = 8:30a
Pedal time = 9am

Start Location = 501 Watkins Park Dr (Perrywood Elementary School)

Pace = Your Pace (bring a ride partner or many) This ride is party pace until we arrive onto Croom Rd. Approx mile 11. Once we arrive onto Croom Rd the ride is open for any pace that you desire! At mile 29 the Baden Store will be a good "optional" break/rest stop for you. This is not a ride for beginners.

This is a self-supported ride. No SAG. No Sweepers.
Group Ride Guidelines:

1. Safety first!
2. Bicyclists who participate in any AVS rides are required to wear a properly fastened helmet.
3. Bicyclists may not ride more than two (2) abreast and may not impede traffic.
4. Bicyclists must come to a complete stop at all stop signs and traffic lights displaying a red signal.
5. Bicyclists are expected to have their bikes in proper working order.
6. Bicyclists are expected to ride with repair equipment in the event for flat tire, etc.
7. Bicyclists should bring adequate nutrition to include enough hydration and snacks.
8. At night, bicycles must be equipped with a front white light and a rear red reflector or red light visible, both visible from 600 feet away.
