It is that time of year again when Push 'N Pedals and DMV Caribbean Ridazz invites all cycling clubs to their 4th Annual Bike Ride 2 Mayo Beach!
Potluck stylee! Bring your coolers, chairs and great vibes!
There will be 2 routes (40 miler and 20 miler) and 2 starting locations:
The 40 miler will leave at 7:30 am
• Start Location: Perrywood Elementary School
501 Watkins Park Dr, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774
• Meet Time: 7:00 AM
• Push Time: 7:30 AM*****
• Route: Ride with GPS – 40 Miles (https://ridewithgps.com/trips/97416508)
• Pace: 15–18 mph Average Moving Speed
• Note: Note: This could be a CHALLENGING ride with rolling hills
Let's keep it together until we turn right on Central Ave. After the turn you are free to SAFELY stretch your legs to the beach.
The second route will be 20 miler leaving at 8:00 am

Location: Davidsonville Elementary School

• Note: This could be a CHALLENGING ride with rolling hills
• Note: NO-DROP RIDE
Bring your coolers, chairs and great vibes for post-ride fellowship at Perrywood Elementary School!
Please remember these rules:
1. Safety first

2. Bicyclists who participate on any AVS hosted or partner supported rides are required to wear a properly fastened helmet.

3. Bicyclists may not ride more than two (2) abreast and may not impede traffic.

4. Bicyclists must come to a complete stop at all stop signs and traffic lights displaying a red signal.

5. Bicyclists are expected to have their bikes in proper working order.

6. Bicyclists are expected to ride with repair equipment in the event for flat tire, etc.

7. Bicyclists should bring adequate nutrition to include enough hydration and snacks.

8. At night, bicycles must be equipped with a front white light and a rear red reflector or red light visible, both visible from 600 feet away.
