Join AVS as we support GII and their annual Oxford Ferry ride. Instead of going to the Seagull Century this year, come join us. This 101- and 61-mile scenic route starts from Easton, MD, passes through Cordova, Delaware, and crosses the Choptank River Bridge.

Meetup Time is at 7:30 am, pre-ride speech at 8:15 am,

ROLLING WITH OR WITHOUT YOU AT 8:30 am SHARP.

THE SAG INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED A WEEK BEFORE THE RIDE.
WRIST BANDS AND SAG NUMBERS WILL BE GIVEN AT THE RIDE TO THOSE WHO PAY SAG.
THE SAG FEE IS $5

Oxford-Bellevue Ferry: After the last rest stop, we will have to use the ferry to continue the ride. The one-way trip fee is $7.00 CASH and runs every 15-20 minutes.

We will start from the Target parking lot in Easton, MD. Park in the spaces furthest from the front of Target adjacent to the abandoned Banks.
Bathrooms: Chick-fil-A near Target, McDonald's on the corner of Easton Pkwy and Marlboro Ave., and Dunkin Donuts in Tred Avon Square Plaza off Marlboro Ave. open before 8:00 a.m.
Hotel: If you want to drive up the evening before, there is a Holiday Inn Express in Easton, MD, and other hotels nearby.
REST STOPS FOR CENTURY:
REST STOP ONE: Mile 20.7 at ROYAL FARMS: FOOD, DRINKS, and BATHROOMS
REST STOP TWO: Mile 32.9 at ROYAL FARMS: FOOD, DRINKS, and BATHROOMS
REST STOP THREE: Mile 46.6 WAWA: FOOD, DRINKS AND BATHROOMS
REST STOP FOUR: MILE 61.9 CITGO: FOOD, DRINKS AND BATHROOMS
REST STOP FIVE: MILE 73.2 EXXON: FOOD and DRINKS will be available. ONE BATHROOM is open. ASK THE ATTENDANT TO USE THE BATHROOMS.
REST STOP SIX: Mile 90.6 Oxford Market: Food and drinks, bathrooms on Market St. Look for the restroom sign on the left. Get something to eat while waiting for the ferry. Ferry Fee $7.00 CASH
REST STOPS FOR METRIC:
REST STOP ONE: Mile 20.7 at ROYAL FARMS: FOOD, DRINKS, and BATHROOMS
REST STOP TWO: MILE 31.9 EXXON: FOOD and DRINKS will be available. ONE BATHROOM is open. ASK THE ATTENDANT TO USE THE BATHROOMS.
REST STOP THREE: Mile 49.3 Oxford Market: Food and drinks, bathrooms on Market St. Look for the restroom sign on the left. Get something to eat while waiting for the ferry. Ferry Fee $7.00 CASH
Why do we have Support and Gear (SAG)? This is to ensure you and your bike get back to your car safely if you have an accident, cannot finish the ride, incur a mechanic, have medical issues, or maybe bike off more than you can do. SAG will assist you in these matters. In other words, Crap Happens!

PACE:
A/B = Fast Touring 18-20+ mph AMS
C =Easy Touring 15 to 17 mph AMS
AMS (Average Moving Speed) may vary depending on terrain, traffic, and riders' ability.
PRE-RIDE LOGISTICS:
• An RSVP of "YES" means you have read, understood, and agree to Getting It In Cyclists, Inc. (GII) "Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement" located HERE:

• To make the ride-day sign-in quicker and more accessible, please provide your ride-day contact info via the RSVP questions so the Ride Leader/Organizer can have that in case of an emergency on the day of the ride. Your info will be kept private and will only be visible to the Ride Leader/Organizer.
CYCLIST RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Arrive early and be ready to leave on time.
• FOR SAFETY REASONS (NO LOUD MUSIC)-HEADPHONES, PLEASE. We need everyone able to hear other riders, cars, etc. A single earpiece for Nav/GPS is okay. Best for Cycling SHOKZ Headphones
• HELMETS ARE MANDATORY! NO HELMET, NO RIDE.
• CARRY A SPARE TUBE, PATCH KIT, PUMP, WATER BOTTLE, AND SNACK.
• Carry identification and emergency money.
• Practice safety and obey all traffic laws.
• Do not "bike off" more than you can do. Go on rides within your ability, interest, and experience level.
• If you get a flat tire, you must have a spare inner tube and change your tire.
• MAKE SURE YOUR BICYCLE IS IN PROPER WORKING ORDER BEFORE YOU ARRIVE!
