DMV Caribbean Riders 5th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Ride

DMVCR is hosting its 5th Cancer Awareness Ride on Sunday 27th September, 2026 to bring awareness to Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer that has affected our family, friends and community. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Location: Allen Pond Park, Bowie MD
Meet Up 9:30 am; Ride Off 10:15 am

Your registration fee includes:
Post-ride meal
Support and Gear (SAG) until 1pm
Opportunity to snag special prizes during the event
Donation to help support members of our community who have been affected by prostate and/or breast cancer
DONATIONS:
We welcome donations even if you are unable to ride. Feel free to send them to dmv.caribbean.ridazz@gmail.com via Zelle. You are also welcome to donate cycling-related items for our very spirited prize distribution pool. Email us at dmv.caribbean.ridazz@gmail.com to arrange donation.

WHAT TO WEAR:
We are asking each cyclist to wear their DMVCR Breast Cancer or Prostate Cancer Jersey (available for purchase while supplies last). If you do not have a DMVCR cancer jersey anything pink or blue will work.

PRE-RIDE LOGISTICS
9:30am - Meet up at Allen Pond Park East Pavilion
9:45am - Pre-ride address & Send Off
10:15am - 40 mile route starts (Group A/B: 16+ mph)
10:45am - “Vybz Route” starts (2.5 mile loop around Allen Pond Park)
12:00pm - Keynote Speaker and Announcements
12:30pm - Lunch service
1:00pm - Prize distribution (must be present to claim prizes)

Bring your chairs and good vibes to partake in the post ride fellowship.
Restrooms are available on-site

SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE:
To make the ride fun and exciting, registrants are encouraged to post photos/videos at the beginning and end of your ride. Take a picture by our photo backdrop and share your experience with others. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A RACE. This is a time of fellowship where we will be riding at a conversational pace. We will have multiple marshals escorting us. The 40-mile route will be facilitated by Zoaroo. Please ride safely and enjoy the fellowship for a noteworthy cause.

The DMVCR Cancer Awareness Ride is a rain-or-shine, non-refundable event. There is no rain date.
