Camp Always Choose Adventures

Always Choose Adventures (ACA) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties. Our mission is simple: to break barriers and bring the outdoors to everyone.

We believe outdoor recreation should be accessible, welcoming, and community-driven. Whether someone is brand new to camping and off-roading or has years of experience in the mountains, there should be a place where they feel supported, included, and encouraged to participate.

### What We Do

ACA hosts events centered around outdoor connection, skill-building, and stewardship. Many of our gatherings take place at Camp ACA, our off-grid campground and outdoor education space located near the Peak to Peak region. The campground operates as a hub for community events, educational clinics, volunteer days, and social gatherings.
Our events may include:

• Community campouts and social gatherings
• Off-road and outdoor skills clinics
• Trail stewardship and volunteer days
• Fundraising events that support access and education
• Social events designed to help people meet others who share an interest in the outdoors

Some events are casual and social. Others are educational or service-oriented. All are rooted in community and respect for the land.

• Expanding access for individuals and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience Colorado’s outdoors

We are especially focused on building connections between Front Range and mountain communities and creating opportunities for people to meet one another in person — not just online.
