Angel Island Backpack trip

Details
A Backpack trip on Angel Island has been on my bucket list. I was lucky to get a reservation for Sunrise Camp 009. There are pit toilets, water, picnic table, grill, racoon safe food hutch at each campsite. Eight people max and you must carry all your equipment, ie tent, sleeping bag, food, clothes, etc. Wagons are not advisable on gravel roads.
The hike is abt 2.5 miles from the Ferry drop off.
We will make carpool arrangements to the Tiburan Ferry Building (taking the 1:00 Ferry to the Island). It's abt a 3 to 4 hr drive from PG.
When we get there (check in is at 2pm) and set up camp, we can hike to the top of Mt Livermore, have dinner, watch the Blue Angels practice (hopefully) and enjoy the sunset before hiking back to camp. BRING a camp stove, dinner, flashlight or headlamp, poles, layers, rain jacket (it may be foggy on the return trip).
There are raccoons so make sure you have no food in or around your tent (just like you would do for bears!)
The cost will be based on the # of people that sign up and will include gas $ for the driver(s).
