Let's Hike - - Calaveras Big Trees SP in the Spring

Details
We will begin our hike at the South Grove Trail head. We'll wander thru the forest and skirt a meadow before crossing the footbridge at Beaver Creek. We will do Bradley Grove (2.5 m loop) then head straight out to the Big Boy Agazziz tree, the largest in the park. Dogwoods should be abundent!
The hike will be approximately 5 to 6 miles in distance with 750 +/- feet of climbing. I do recommend as you are exiting the park, if time permits, that you stop at the Visitors Center and tour the North Grove.
The Calaveras Big Trees web-site has a wonderful trail guide for the South Grove.
