Exploratory Hike Shakeridge

Meet at 830am Shakeridge Rd and Hwy 88. If coming up 88 you will see a 4000 elev. sign. There is a pull out to the right BEFORE the passing lane. Park there. Carpool anyone? Let me know, we can meet at 76 Station at Silver Dr in Pioneer.
Once at Hwy 88, we will shuttle to a pull out on Shake Ridge Rd.
If coming from Fiddletown area, come south on Shakeridge to a wide pullout on your right. There is a gate across the street for the TH. It is right past Dew Drop rd.
If in doubt drive to 88 spot.

For our hike we will do about 5 miles RT along logging roads heading down to the So. Fork of the Natomes. Exploratory IS in the description...Lunch stop half way thru. Bring plenty of water, layers, lunch, poles if needed, snacks, bug juice and sun lotion. This hike is in and out of the shade, along some standing ponds so a gnat hat might also be a good idea.
