Hike to Bruce Crossing on the Mokelumne River. (10 miles)

After meeting at the Dollar General in West Point at 9:30, we will plan a carpool up to the SPI gate on Winton Rd. From the parking on Winton, we will follow SPI and Forest Service roads down to reach the Mokelumne River, where Blue Creek flows into the river.

We'll have lunch at this spectacular spot, explore a bit, and then head back.

This is about a 10-mile hike with a decent of 1,600 ft (and, of course, an ascent of 1,600 ft).

Don't forget- the hat, sunscreen, bug juice, plenty of water, snacks, hiking pole, and good hiking boots.
