Hike Showers Lake Loop from Schneider Camp.

This is a very nice loop hike of 7.5 miles.

We'll start from Schneider Camp and head over the ridge to Showers Lake. Past Showers, we will follow the PCT for a few miles before looping back to Schneider Camp, essentially circling Little Round Top Peak. Wildflowers should be abundant in some areas.

Sturdy boots and hiking poles are good to have. Sun protection is important. Mosquitoes are to be expected around the wet marshy areas, so some form of bug repellent is highly recommended. Bring Plenty of Water and your favorite energy snacks, of course.

Please consider this to be a solid “moderate” loop hike of 7.5 miles.

We will meet in Pioneer/Buckhorn at the 76 gas station at 9:00 am for carpooling to Schneider Camp.
