Club Description
Amador Flyfishers (AFF) is a family-oriented organization established in 1991 to provide an opportunity for persons interested in fly fishing to share information, learn from others, experience fly fishing in various locations, and protect fisheries for future generations.
AFF meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM. The meetings provide an opportunity to socialize with other fly fishers, learn new skills, share local fishing reports, and hear a presentation given by a prominent industry fly fisher.

- Or online via Zoom. To obtain the Zoom link simply RSVP to the meeting and the link will be sent a day or so before the meeting.

Steelhead on the Mokelumne
Mokelumne River Day Use Area, 25800 N Mcintire Rd, Clements, CA, USWe will be fishing for Steelhead and Rainbow Trout below the Camanche Dam in the Mokelumne River Day Use Area east of Clements. This is a walk and wade trip. The wading is easy to difficult depending on flows.

This outing is available to AFF Paid Club Members and their guest(s).

Members and guest(s) of all levels of experience are strongly encouraged to attend.Contact the Fishing host if you or your guest(s) would like to request instruction or loaner equipment at least a week prior to the outing.
Be courteous and change your RSVP to “Not Attending” if you are unable to attend the outing. For safety reasons let the Fishing host or another attending member know if you leave an outing early.
Make sure you have your 2026 Steelhead Report Card and fishing License.

Indicator & split shotFlies
Most Rainbow trout nymphs, streamers and egg patterns work. Nymphing is the most productive. Streamers will also work.Also, bring a lunch. We will meet back at the parking lot around noon to take a break and share stories.
