Adult Fly Fishing Class Outings
Details
Saturday April 25th. Mokelumne River. Starting Time 9:00. The outing is at the END of Electra Road on the Mokelumne River. Electra Road is off of Hwy 49 between Jackson and Mokelumne Hill. The turn off is just north of the bridge that crosses the Mokelumne. We will gather in the unpaved parking lot at the end of Electra road. Please feel free to arrive earlier than the start time to get your equipment together. We will be demonstrating the various types of fly fishing you can perform on moving water.
The class will divide into three groups. There will be 3 stations: Dry/Dry Dropper, Streamer/Swinging Flies, and Indicator/Tightline Nymphing. We will have about 45 minutes at each station. The staff will keep time and send you on your way at the end of each session.
After all three demos you are free to fish the river. Some of us will be hanging around to give you a hand. Be careful. Because there is a hydroelectric plant upstream, the flow can change fast and dramatically. Any questions on this day, call Joe at (925) 783-9820.
