Schaads Lake is a 41 acre reservoir the club has fished in the distant past. The lake has panfish, rainbow and browns. A float tube would be best as the Mokelumne River inlet at the top of the lake is often the hot spot, as least in spring. There are some fishable areas along the shore too.
Average depth 30-40 feet, 50 by dam, bottom smooth and flat but side very steep.
There are no toilets. Little to no cell reception for ATT phones.

the 'new access rules' Open from May 1st to the end of October, weather and mostly road conditions can delay opening or cause early closure. Got shut out last year so early September should be just fine.

The usual flies for lakes will do. Damsel nymphs, scuds, streamers, Rogers Reapers. Big Browns in there so big nets!

Road in is poorly marked. Look over photos below for roads that do not go to the lake and the one that does!
