Friday Online Session: Flatpick Friday Aug 21st 🎷🎸🎹

Join us for 90 minutes of online music making, chats and friendship. Open to all amateur musicians, anywhere in the world! If you've got an internet connection - you can join in! Bring your instrument and/or voice, and a song to share. Good vibes and support for your music guaranteed!

Flatpick Friday: Let's all pull our favourite pick out and flat pick a song! ALL types of flat picking welcome, from just the bass notes to full out.

Ideas:
a) Alternate picking out the bass note of your chord before strumming
b) Add some walk ups (or downs) to your chord before strumming
c) Add a picked intro/outro
c) Add a picked riff, or bit of the melody
d) Carter style: add strums between picking melody notes
e) Bluegrass flat picking, cross picking....

You get the picture--as much or as little as you feel suits your song. Don't feel like using a pick? No problem, as always, feel free to play something different :)

How our online events work :
👉 We take turns at performing one song each.
👉 There is time between songs for feedback, tips and music chat.

👉 Bring an instrument/voice and a song you would like to perform
