Saturday Morning Hike! GSL/Lighthouse/PDR Loop
Details
This is a nice loop hike, starting at the GSL (Givens, Spicer, Lowry) trailhead. We will hike the entire length of GSL to The Lighthouse intersection, taking The Lighthouse trail to the parking lot. From there it is a short walk to the Paseo de Rio trailhead which we will take back to the GSL parking lot. This hike is about 6 miles in total. It will be a fairly flat hike with some occasional, moderate hills.
We will meet at 7:30 AM at the Sad Monkey Mercantile parking lot, located about a mile outside the main entrance to the park. We will depart to trailhead at 7:45 AM or when everyone has arrived, whichever happens first. If you are going to be late or decide not to come, please let us know.
The weather will be perfect for a hike, with cooler temps in the morning, but warming up nicely before we finish. Dress according to the forecast, bring plenty of water, and something to eat.
If you have not signed the required one-time hold harmless agreement, please message the host with your full name and email address and you will be emailed a form that you can electronically sign. There will also be an opportunity to sign prior to the start of the hike.
If you have a park pass and are willing to take other hikers with you into the park, please let us know.
