Haiwee Pass Exploration

This is just a fun exploration hike I've been wanting to do for awhile. From everything I've read the Haiwee Pass Trail is heavily damaged and may be impassible in spots. I want to check it out and see how far I can get and maybe just maybe force my way to the top. There are probably some similarities to nearby Olancha Pass although this trail will be a bit lower elevation, probably drier, warmer and of course, may be difficult to follow due to debris and washed out portions.

From the 395 I plan on driving down Haiwee Canyon Road until I reach the power lines. I'll probably be parking there as I'm unsure of the road quality closer to the trailhead.
