Amateur Writers of Long Island -- 6.1.25 @ Huntington Arts Council

You are invited to the June 1st, 2025 in-person meeting of the Amateur Writers of Long Island!

We'll be at Huntington Arts Council on Main Street just east of Route 110.

New and returning members are all welcome; you are invited to bring a selection of your writing to read and on which to receive feedback, but bringing a selection is not required. The maximum word limit is 1800 words.

Please try to arrive on time. We want to start the readings promptly at 1 PM so that everyone gets an opportunity to read and receive feedback.

Please print copies of your selection (if you are bringing one) sufficient for distribution to the other members. We recommend 20-25 copies, depending on the size of the group.

There are several nearby parking lots, including a large municipal parking lot just west and across Main St.

Under ideal circumstances you can use the large parking lots just south and slightly west of Huntington Arts Council:
