all said,.. This should be a fantastic night on the River...
So lets get together have some fun and make new friends on this Amazing Salt River voyage!!

NOTE: This evening we will start our float at Water Users Recreation Area

Our Full Moon Hiking events are so popular... I thought how AMAZING it would be to do a SUNSET/FULL MOON on the water on the beautiful Lower Salt River. SOOO... LETS DO IT!!!

************* THIS WILL BE AMAZING... FUN & RELAXING ***************

Our group did this last year a few times and this year . We had a great time with Spectacular Sun Sets and Beautiful Views of the rising Moon as it came up over our shoulders as we floated down to our final destination Phon D Sutton.

We will meet up and be ready to GO at Phone D. Sutton Recreation Area (Ending point) at 4:15pm. NOTE: If you have an inflatable PFD, arrive sufficiently earlier to allow time to inflate your craft before we *shuttle up to Water Users Recreation Area. (If you have a hard shell or Inflatable Kayak and can't transport anything else it might be best to meet us up at starting location) Then will see what vehicles we can leave and condense down and load up to drive up to Water Users Recreation Site (Starting point) There we unload kayaks and Paddle boards, and bring down to launch area (East end of main parking lot, (pathway behind restrooms), Would like to be on the river by 5:00 PM to enjoy the Amazing Arizona Sunset.

As we head down the river enjoying the evening sky, getting close to Mud Cliffs where we will take a break have some time to watch the Beautiful Full Moon in the eastern sky. Then continue our paddle down to our final destination with the light of the Full Moon!

Don't forget to look for and enjoy all there is to see along the rivers edge like Bald Eagles, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Osprey... and maybe we might catch sight of a Road runner just to mention a few of our bird species. Maybe catch sight of a North American River Otter, Coyotes, Rabbits and even skunks.... And just Maybe see the Sacred Cow.. and of course the Wild Horses along the waters edge !

SUNSET: 7:20PM

MOONRISE: 6:50PM

DAY'S FORCAST: It's Going to be a HOT ONE.. LOWS: mid 80 HIGH: 107
