The water is said to be flowing at Horureseshoe Dam, So before it stops lets get out there!! It was over 2 years ago the last time we did this Amazing AdventYes, Make the time to join us.

Three Beautiful Locations in one day!!

(1) Blue Wash Trail is a Beautiful easy/moderate hike to get to a small but gorgeous and secluded Camp Creek Falls. (2.8miles out and back) As you head down from trailhead you find yourself in a dry and sandy wash with rock walls and hills on your sides with plant life and a possibility of catching a glimpse of wild life in the area. (maybe even a rattle snake on the trail) As we come to a T in the trail we turn left and head up Camp Creek Trail a gorgeous riparian area before catching your first glimpse of the waterfall. We will spend time there and if you choose we will head around the Fall and explore more of the creek / riparian area. Location Scottsdale, off Cave Creek Road.
(a.k.a. Seven Springs Road and FR24). This pined map takes you to our trailhead and meeting location. Then we can share ride to the other locations.

(2) Head back to the Cars and drive 1/2 mile up the road and check out Sears Kay Ruin.... Short and easy hike (1.6 miles out and back). Beautiful wild flower and rock formations, and of course the Ruins:
Sears Kay Ruin offers the visitor a glimpse of a distinctive lifestyle that existed long before Columbus. Self-guided 1-mile loop trail will take you through Hohokam Ruins. The site of Sears Kay Ruin was first occupied about 1500 AD. Point of Interest along the Great Western Trail. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

(3) Then back in the cars to head towards FR 205 to Horseshoe Dam Vista around 15miles 10 of which is dirt road.
The spill gates were open last time we went (and still should be open) creating a magnificent waterfall that we can walk under to the other side. We will take time to enjoy the beautiful water flow and the amazing colors of the wild flowers in around this spectacular area!! Short and easy hike. (less then 1 Mile out and back)

As always, bring lots of water, nutritious snacks, hat, sturdy footwear, hiking poles (personal choice), sunscreen, camera, flashlight (for evening hikes), and your sense for an Amazing Arizona Adventure!
