Details

The Miners Needle hike in Arizona’s Superstition Mountains offers stunning desert scenery, starting from the Peralta Trailhead. It is a prominent landmark in the area.

The trail is well-maintained but can be rocky and steep in some sections. It gradually ascends until reaching a viewpoint of the summit.

I have not hiked this route before. We will follow the trail the entire time and will not go off-trail.

IMPORTANT PARKING NOTE: If the parking lot at the main trailhead is full you can park at the parking lot on the left below you arrive at the main parking lot. Please consider arriving earlier than planned because if you have to park below and walk to the main trail this could add an extra 15 minutes.

Meet at the Peralta Trailhead at 9:00 am.
