COME ONE COME ALL & LETS CELEBRATE THE 5th ANNIVERSARY OF ************* "AMAZING ARIZONA ADVENTURES" ************** Fantastic Anniversary Sunday, come and Celebrate the years with old and new friends.
How time flies, Its been 5 years Amazing Arizona Adventures group was started and we have grown to just around 3800 AMAZING members. Over that time I/we have had a chance to meet and become friends with so many Amazing people and had so many memories that took Us on some Wild, Crazy, Spectacular, and Truly Amazing ADVENTURES!!!
I am truly greatful for all you Amazing people! THANK YOU ALL!! Please try and find the time to come by and reminisce with old friends and find time to make new friends.

SO PLEASE, LET'S ALL MEET UP ON SHAW BUTTE MOUNTAIN AT THE RUINS of CLOUD 9 & WATCH THE SUNSET & THE CITY LIGHTS START TO GLIMMER & SHARE OUR AMAZING STORIES AND GIVE THANKS FOR THE JOY OF FRIENDSHIP,. ALSO HAVE A CHANCE TO ENJOY YOUR FELLOW HIKERS (OLD & NEW) WITH POTLUCK!!!

PLEASE, OLD AND NEW FRIENDS COME, ONE AND ALL AND BE PRESENT IN A PLACE OF GRATITUDE.

Lets get together and share old stories of adventures we have had, and the excitement of new adventures to come.... Plus have a chance to get to know new members and share ideas of future Amazing Adventures, during this thankful event. Bring a chair, blanket, food or drinks for our "Pot Luck Picnic" on the concrete slab of Cloud Nine Ruins, Or Please bring whatever you feel that would make this event "Most Excellent" and most of all bring your Amazing and fun loving personality.

We can watch the sunset in the west around 5:59PM, as the city lights start to glimmer with breath taking views.. and the Full Moon rise in the Eastern sky at the same time....please come enjoy the evening festivities...
We will be heading up the Shaw Butte Mountain at 5:00PM, please join me. We will be going up from the 7th Ave Trailhead it is just a little over 3/4 mile up and just under 450' El. Gain. Look for the glowing "9" high in the Sky. If you would like to make it a longer hike you can come up anytime and any trailhead to meet us up at "Cloud 9 Ruins." We plan on being up on Cloud 9 for a few hours enjoying each others company (come and go as you wish).

***When heading up remember if you hiked to the top of the mountain you have gone too far, we are on the south side before the summit & off to the East of trail.... the trail loops back up to the ruins***

Start hiking: Shaw Butte Mountain at 5:00 PM.. or your choice to meet us up at the ruins.

Distance: 1.6miles up and back from 7th Ave trailhead (or you can make it longer)

Elevation: 450' +/-

DURATION: Till you have had enough fun - 3 hours

Difficulty: Moderate Out & Back

Weather: Lows low 50° F. High upper 78° F.

As always, bring lots of water, nutritious snacks, sturdy footwear, hiking poles (personal choice), sunscreen, camera, flashlight (for evening hikes), and any other items that you as an EXPERIENCED hiker likes to bring on hikes...and very important your sense for an Amazing Arizona Adventure!
