E. Mesa 'PopUp' Hike to EJ Peak!

Let's do a quick 'FITNESS Hike' in East Mesa!
Lone Mountain up to EJ Peak
Start: 9:30am SHARP! (Plan to arrive a bit early & be ready to hike at 9:30am please!) Please meet by the Metal Gate at ATV Dirt road going in to Bulldog Canyon.
Miles: 2.36 Round trip
Elevation Gain: Approx. 750 ft
Approx. Time: 1 1/2 hrs. to 2 hrs. (Includes break at top)
Lone Mountain up to E.J. Peak is a very scenic, short but steep hike.
Located just past (North of) the popular Usery Mtn. Park area.
Offers great views of Bulldog Canyon & surrounding Mountain ranges, & from the top, Salt River & the Four Peaks area.

(Note: there are NO restrooms at trailhead)
Also, I won’t be hiking super-fast, but will keep a steady pace all the way up & take a few Photo breaks)
Directions: Head out to E. Mesa. Take Ellsworth Rd. out, until it turns into Usery Pass Rd. Then pass Usery Mountain Park Entrance (going NORTH) - Continue about 1/2 mile, around a bend with a Flashing Caution sign, turn right into Bulldog Canyon Parking area. (Very busy area - There will be cars on both sides of the street,)
Park wherever you can get a spot & DON't leave ANY VALUABLES in your car please! We'll meet at the metal gate, ATV entrance.
