From the summit, you can take in the Superstition ridgeline, the larger Four Peaks and Weaver’s Needle, and the shimmering blue waters of Canyon Lake to the east.

Hike Details:

  • Mileage: 2.1 miles

We will meet at 9:00 to carpool in the parking lot at Leslie's Pool Supplies, 1157 N Ellsworth Rd Ste 104-105, Mesa, AZ.
From there it is a 30 minute on highway 88 toward Canyon Lake.

Total time from meeting location and back: About 5 hours from 9:00 to 2:00 - this is approximate and it could take longer but most likely a tad bit shorter.

Why I cannot guarantee you will be back by 2:00. Sometimes the group is enjoying the hike. Perhaps we are taking lots of photos or just going slower due to the beauty or conversation, or we discover an interesting spot off the main trail worth exploring.

  • Suggestion: It’s best not to schedule other commitments right after the hike so you can stay flexible and enjoy the day without feeling rushed.
