💙ONCE IN A BLUE MOON💙 HIKE TO CLOUD 9 "SOCIAL EVENT" SUNSET AND MOON RISE

🌕💙 THE RARE BLUE MOON IS COMING 💙. The night sky will bring us a special lunar event:
a Blue Moon, the second full moon of the month. Despite the name, the Moon won't actually turn blue — but it will still shine with a beautiful, bright glow that makes this moment worth watching

LET'S MEET UP ON THE RUINS of CLOUD 9 & WATCH THE SUNSET & THE MOON RISE AS THE CITY LIGHTS START TO GLIMMER!!! MOST OF ALL MEET & ENJOY YOUR FELLOW HIKERS!!!

Get together and get to know your fellow members during this event. LETS MAKE IT A POT LUCK Bring something to share with the group. Bring a chair, blanket, something to make yourself comfortable as you enjoy the evening fun. Don’t forget your drinks,, or whatever you feel that would make this event special. More important what ever you feel that would make this night

This was so much fun last time...so lets do this event again, will be a lot of fun! We will watch the Sunset around 7:30pm and the Moon will start rising at 8:25pm. So come enjoy the evening festivities... Will be a lot of fun!!

I will be heading up the Trail at 6:30pm please join me. I will be going up from the 7th Ave Trailhead it is just over 3/4 mile up and just under 450' El. Gain. Look for the glowing "9" high in the Sky. If you would like to make it a longer hike you can come up anytime and any trailhead to meet us up at "Cloud 9 Ruins." We plan on being up on Cloud 9 for a few hours enjoying each others company (come and go as you wish).

***When heading up remember if you hiked to the top of the mountain you have gone too far, we are on the south side before the summit & off to the East of trail.... the trail loops back up to the ruins***

Weather: Low 70 F. High: right around 99F.

As always, bring lots of water, nutritious snacks, hat, sturdy footwear, hiking poles (personal choice), sunscreen, camera, flashlight (for evening hikes), Gloves and any other items that you as an EXPERIENCED hiker likes to bring on hikes...and very important your sense for an Amazing Arizona Adventure!
