2. GitOps with ArgoCD: Automate your Kubernetes Deployments
by Philipp Bergsmann, Senior Black Belt Managed OpenShift at Red Hat

What is the session about?

  • GitOps is a modern approach to automate software delivery using Git as the source of truth. We will then showcase a live demo of deploying an application to two different Kubernetes clusters (EKS and ROSA) using ArgoCD, a popular GitOps tool. By the end of this talk, you'll have a solid understanding of GitOps and ArgoCD, and how to implement these techniques in your own projects.

Who will present?

  • Philipp is part of the EMEA OpenShift Black Belt team at Red Hat, focusing on the managed cloud offerings. He has worked in the IT industry for about 20 years in various roles, from development to cloud infrastructure consulting.
