Data-Driven Plant Operations Powered by ML and AWS

Details
Hi All - our next event is on the 28th of August, kindly hosted at late notice by WGA. It's a new venue, 57 Wyatt St, Adelaide.
The Data Analytics team, lead by Jess Page, have been working hard solving problems within a larger engineering consultancy.
Last month we learned all about the SA Power Grid. This month, its all about large industrial processing plants.
Raj Patel and Sam Mercer will present.
"Join us to learn how WGA’s Plant Optimisation Tool is helping mining operations unlock more value from their processing plants. By running thousands of simulation scenarios, the tool identifies optimal control settings that maximise throughput and recovery while ensuring plant stability.
We’ll share how AWS Batch and Fargate enabled us to remove validation bottlenecks, accelerate model updates, and deliver fast, data-driven recommendations directly to control room operators.
This session will cover the AWS Batch process, job processing workflow , and proven strategies for optimising batch jobs for both efficiency and cost.
Discover how your team can use these AWS services to accelerate tasks."
As always - this is one not to miss! Oh, plus beer and pizza.
See you there,
Rick
