If you're new to AWS GameDay, get ready for an exciting, team-based workshop where you'll embark on a gamified adventure through AWS challenges.
It's a remarkable opportunity for learning, collaboration, and strengthening team bonds.
For this edition of GameDay, we're focusing on building cost-effective applications and understanding various cost efficiency strategies within the AWS environment.
Gather your dream team of 3 or 4 AWS enthusiasts and brace yourselves for an engaging hands-on experience with key services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, and CloudWatch.
Together, you'll dive into optimizing application costs. And if you're up for the challenge, you and your team will work to reduce cloud costs while maintaining service quality and maximizing profitability.
The progress made in reducing cloud costs will earn your team points and enhance your profit margin. Top teams with the lowest cloud costs and highest profit margin will eventually win the game.
Required familiarity: beginner to intermediate understanding of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch)
Team size: 3-4 Players - come with your team or we will create ad-hoc ones
