Description: Let’s start early and beat the heat with this approximately 7 mile hike that includes views of both waterfalls and a loop around the grounds of Long Hill Estate. Registration requested (if you have to cancel, please do so 48 hours before the hike). Bring plenty of water, snacks/lunch, bug spray, sunscreen, and a personal first aid kit. We will hike at a pace of about 2+/- mph (depending upon the heat). The trails mostly have easy footing except for some scrambling at Little Falls, so shoes with grippy soles are important. No dogs please. Inclement weather cancels.
We will meet at 8:15 AM to start hiking promptly at 8:30 AM. The end time of this activity is only an estimate. We will meet at the main entrance of Wadsworth Falls State Park located on CT route 157 (NOT the Cherry Hill Road entrance).
