Description: Social ride 10-13 mph. Bike two Massachusett Rail to Trail with an overnight stay in Pittsfield, MA. Starting in Easthampton, MA. to ride the Manhan and Central Mass bikepaths, 25 miles, mostly paved, at 10:30 am. Ride through Northampton, Florence and Look Park, Leeds, MA. Optional late lunch at Fitzwilly's downtown Northampton, before heading back to cars. Drive 1 hour north to Best Western Plus in Pittsfield, MA for your overnight stay. Continental breakfast included. Next morning, drive 15 minutes to the Ashuwillticook trailhead parking lot in Laneesborough, MA. ride up to 28 miles, paved and packed gravel surfaces. Both trails are scenic, some areas shaded, with water views, fun and different. Bring water, food for lunch or buy, Helmet, spare tire tube required. Price for trip $107 per person, double occupancy or single, private room is $225. Non-members $50 extra.
