Description: A loop hike of about 6 miles with varied terrain mostly on the New England Trail. Registration requested. We will hike at a steady pace with a few short stops for views. We will also see the Selectman Stones where the towns of Durham, Guilford, and Madison meet. Most of the trails are rocky; sturdy hiking boots are needed. Bring plenty of water, snacks/lunch, bug spray, sunscreen, and a personal first aid kit. Heavy rain cancels. Expect about 3 hours of hiking time at a steady pace of 2-2.5 mph. Meet at 8:15 for a 8:30 am start. Heavy rain cancels, if in doubt contact the leader after 7 am the day of the hike (text preferred). Starting point GPS Northern Exposure Parking Dead Hill Road Durham, CT. This brings you to the end of Dead Hill Road with a small lot on the right and a short distance further a larger parking area also on the right.
