Description: The Northwest Camp (NWC) Committee Fall Workparty will be on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9-4 PM. Come visit and help maintain the place we all really enjoy. Former Caretaker, Chair, and AT Thru-hiker, Roy Hoffman will be traveling from VT to cook his delicious breakfast sandwiches for everyone beginning at 8:30 AM.
No major new projects this year, but the ongoing chores that are needed to maintain NWC are plenty (stacking wood, cleaning ashpit, water bar maintenance, trail trimming, painting, staining, general ground pickup, etc.). We have added one continuous project to the list of chores: maintaining and improving the berm and the erosion control above the cabin.
Come and meet the NWC Committee and friends. Enjoy the beautiful area of NWC and the surrounding areas. Please dress accordingly for the weather, with work clothes you won't mind getting stained or dirty. Gloves, loppers, shovels, rakes, and sturdy shoes are needed. We hope to see everyone on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
