Description: This 20 mile rail trail ride on the Farmington River Trail passes through Farmington, Unionville, Collinsville and Canton. One of the most picturesque trails in New England, it follows the Farmington River as it flows past historic sites.
A bike in good condition, a properly fitting helmet, a spare inner tube, water and snacks required. Bright clothing, flat repair kit, front and rear warning lights recommended
We will meet at the parking lot at 1008 New Britain Ave (near Coppermine Rd) in Farmington. From there we will ride the Farmington River Trail 10 miles to Rt 44 in Canton where we turn around. On the way back, we pause in Collinsville for a coffee break at LaSalle Market and Deli.
