Description: Meet at 9:45 for a prompt 10:00 start for this easy, out-and-back hike on the Larkin Bridle Trail. The length will be 3-4 miles, depending on trail conditions and on the desire of the group. Except for crossing a few quiet roads, the trail is level. No dogs. There might be ice, so appropriate hiking footwear with good traction (no sneakers) and spikes are mandatory. Poles are optional. Hikers must bring water, a snack, personal medications and first-aid supplies. Meet in the lot at 816 Church Street, Naugatuck. Make a pit stop on advance, as there's neither a porta-potty nor privacy at the parking lot.
