India - Ancient Culture, Modern Society Presentation by Dr. Bruce Kerns on his recent trip to India. India is an amazing contrast of old and new, chaos and organization. From its start in the Indus river valley as one of the three classic cradles of civilization, India has become the world's largest democracy. Bruce will present a glimpse into life in central India today and some of the remarkable monuments of its past - one that is well known and a few that are more astonishing and virtually unknown. Hopefully, you will leave with a new appreciation for this country of South Asia.
