Description: Join chapter bike leaders on an exploratory bike ride SOC 10-12 mph from Niantic village to Fort Trumbull in New London, CT, The ride is approximately 30 miles. Leaders may make stops to find best routes for a future ride. Meet at 10 am across from Niantic Bay Bicycles, 8 Medothist Street, Niantic, CT. 06357. We will cycle to the Black Point area, Harkness State Park, Waterford, pass Ocean Beach Park,and onto Fort Trumbull, New London. Be prepared to cycle in congested areas. Helmets and a spare inner tube are required. Bring food and water. Possible late lunch in Niantic village after ride. Limited group size.
