Description: Social Ride 11 to 13 mph, up to 22miles. Join us for a lovely tour of the quaint CT. River towns of Chester, Deep River, and Essex, CT. We will ride a combination of quiet and well-used roads. In addition to a combination of flat and rolling hills ( especially on the return). Eventually, we will cycle on the beautiful River Road following the CT. river into the beautiful village of Essex and stop for a snack or lunch at Olive Oyl's. Your bike should be in excellent working condition. Helmets, lights, inner tube/ tire repair kit are required. Bring water and snacks. Recommend wearing reflective garments and using mirrors. We will meet at 9:15 for a 9:30 AM start at the Chester Municipal Parking lot on Maple Street off the center of Chester village.
