Description
Join AMC Potomac Chapter for a weekend of exploring the Old Rag Mountain area of Virginia. The hiking will take us through hardwood forests in Shenandoah National Park, and the summit of Old Rag Mountain. The summit provides 360-degree panoramic view. The weekend will allow time for a hike on each day.
Ideal Participants

• Be able to hike Old Rag which is considered a level 5/Vigorous hike at 9 miles, 2600 ft elevation gain, and has a 1 mile demanding rock scramble. Be able to hike 2 consecutive days.
