Description: Join AMC Western MA 20s/30s for an early evening hike on the Blue Trail at The Boulders, a Berkshire Natural Resources Council property that spans across the Dalton, Lanesborough, and Pittsfield borders. This route offers a quiet, wooded escape with wide trails, pine stands, stone walls, and glimpses of the surrounding hills. It’s a great low-key option for stretching your legs, getting outside, and connecting with others.
We’ll hike a moderate 2.8 mile loop along the Blue Trail, which gently climbs before descending through hardwood forest and returning to the trailhead. The route is mostly easy to moderate, with some uneven footing and steady, but not steep, climbs.
Dogs are allowed, and must be leashed at all times; please let the leader(s) know if you intend to bring your pup!
