Description: Join other folks in their 20s/30s+ for an early evening walk/hike through the Mineral Hills Conservation Area! This is a point-to-point hike. We’ll meet at the Turkey Hill Rd trailhead and shuttle to the Sylvester Rd trailhead. From there, our hike begins with a pleasant walk through the forest along the Nedobak and Kohl trails. After ~ 1 mile, we’ll arrive at an old quarry and continue our hike in a loop around it with many opportunities to admire the rocky cliffs. Finally, we’ll return to our cars at the Turkey Hill Rd trailhead. The total distance is ~1.5 miles. Some parts of the trail may be muddy, so sturdy footwear is recommended. Finally, the days are getting shorter, and the sun will set during the hike. Please bring a headlamp.
After the hike, we’ll head to Northampton Brewery for dinner, totally optional, but a great way to keep the conversation going!
