Audience: 20’s & 30’s

Description: Join AMC Western MA 20s/30s for a peaceful walk through the woods of Pemberton Memorial Forest and Butter Hill Wildlife Sanctuary in Pelham. This little-known trail system offers a quiet, off-the-beaten-path experience, perfect for a relaxed early evening hike.
We’ll follow a gentle 2–2.5 mile loop through hemlock groves, past old stone walls, and along narrow ridgelines with occasional views of the Mount Holyoke Range. The terrain is mostly easy, with a few short hills and potentially muddy areas depending on conditions. It’s a great spot to slow down, explore new trails, and connect with others in a casual, low-key setting.
After the hike, you’re welcome to join us for an optional dinner at Crazy Noodles in downtown Amherst—no RSVP needed, just come if you’re hungry!
Dogs are allowed, and must be leashed at all times; please let the leader(s) know if you intend to bring your pup!
