Description: Join us for an early evening hike to the summit of Mount Toby in Sunderland. We’ll meet at 4:30 PM at the Cranberry Pond trailhead and make our way up the wooded Mt. Toby Trail and power line path to catch sunset from the fire tower.
Our route will be ~4.2 miles with just under 900ft of elevation gain, with a steady uphill climb to the top and a more gradual descent down the fire road. The trail will likely be covered in leaves this time of year, and we’ll be hiking down after dark, so expect cooler temps and bring a headlamp (or let us know if you'd like to borrow one).
After the hike, you’re welcome to join us for a late dinner at Bridgeside Grille in Sunderland.
Dogs are allowed, and must be leashed at all times; please let the leader(s) know if you intend to bring your pup!
