Audience: 20’s & 30’s
Description: Start the new year on the trail (group two!) with AMC Western MA 20s/30s! Because there’s a ton of interest, Chelsea and Kevin are putting together a spillover group for a winter hike on Saturday, January 3, same “fresh air / new year” energy, just a second crew so more people can join.
We’re planning to hike Mount Sugarloaf in Deerfield (or a very close-by option if conditions call for it) and keep it in the moderate range with some classic valley views.
📍 Meetup location + exact route: TBD, we’ll post the final meeting spot, trailhead, and hike plan soon once we confirm conditions and logistics.
❄️ Winter conditions: Expect snow/ice. Traction may be required depending on conditions, and loaners are available to borrow.
Bring layers, water, and your best “spillover group two still counts as the first adventure of the year” attitude.
