Bike Ride from Charlestown to Winchester

Audience: Adults

Description: Join us for a 25 mile ride from Charlestown through Somerville, Cambridge, Arlington, Medford into Winchester and back along paved roads and bike paths. We will be traveling at a comfortable pace (12-14 mph) and will depart from Charlestown promptly at 9:00 am. Please arrive at 8:45 for introductions, a safety talk, description of the route. Participants should bring a well maintained bike together with a spare inner tube, flashing lights. Helmets are mandatory. Everyone is invited to enjoy a beverage and a bite to eat at a cafe in City Square Charlestown following the ride. The exact route and starting point will be provided to all confirmed participants.
