Description: Join us in celebrating 150 years of AMC with the AMC 150th Relay—a 1,500-mile journey from Virginia to Maine. Join the celebration by participating in a relay segment, attending a local event, or sharing your AMC story. Together, we’ll honor the past and shape the future of outdoor adventure. For this leg of the relay, we'll bike from Friendship to Camden Maine, cycling around beautiful peninsulas and Rockport Harbor on our way to Camden. The ride will be approximately 31 miles, with approximately 1600 feet of elevation gain. Ride pace will be about 13 miles per hour. We will make stops for photos and snacks along the way. Since this is a point-to-point ride, we will meet in Friendship at 11:30AM, and begin our ride by noon. We plan to arrive in Camden by about 4:00.
Registered participants will receive an email with the exact meeting location, a link to the route, and additional details a week before the event.
