Description: Join us for a 21 mile gravel ride through the beautiful Assabet River Wildlife Refuge. The ride will start at 1pm in Maynard. Riders should be comfortable with both on and off road riding and group riding. This ride is not suitable for a road bike, a gravel bike or hybrid is best. Overall pace will average 8-10 mph , surfaces are 35% paved, 65% unpaved with some sections of trails being heavily covered in roots. Moderate paced ride. Helmets are required. Riders should have supplies to fix a flat.
Starting location and ride with GPS map will be provided closer to ride date. Moderate to Heavy Rain will cancel the ride. Questions contact leader.
This is similar to Thursday mid-day gravel ride with more single and double track added to the route.
