Description: Join us for a 14 mile gravel ride through the beautiful Assabet River Wildlife Refuge. We will be meeting at 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start in Maynard. Riders should be comfortable with both on and off road riding and group riding. This ride is not suitable for a road bike, a gravel bike or mountain bike is best. Overall pace will average 10-12 mph , surfaces are 37% paved, 63% unpaved with some sections of trails being heavily covered in roots. Moderate paced ride. Helmets are required. Riders should have supplies to fix a flat.
Starting location and ride with GPS map will be provided closer to ride date. Moderate to Heavy Rain will cancel the ride. Questions contact leader.
