Whether you've lived here for years or arrived this week, tonight is an invitation to feel at home -- in your body, in movement, and among people who love to dance.
As part of Warren Wilson College's Student Orientation, this dance welcomes new students while inviting the greater Asheville dance community to share in the experience. Together, we'll create a space where everyone -- new and returning, student and local -- can connect through movement.

This collaborative dance between AMC and Warren Wilson College's Wilson Ecstatic Dance Student Activities group is a part of Student Orientation Week.

Thanks to the collaboration with Warren Wilson College’s Wilson Ecstatic Dance Student Activities group, all Warren Wilson Students & Faculty are invited to attend this special event for free. Contributions are still welcomed. Students and faculty please be sure to check the WWC checkbox when signing in. Let your friends know!

About the DJ
DJ Bobcat, Bob Swoap crafts journeys that invite dancers to deeply connect: with themselves, others, nature, and the music. He layers genres and world rhythms into an emotionally engaging set. At Warren Wilson College -- where he is professor of psychology and expressive arts therapy -- Bob facilitates ecstatic dance as a part of the community wellness program, bringing a grounded, experienced presence to the floor.
