Intention: Animal Body

Come as you are, soft animal of the world. Your animal body is calling, and it has been patient, waiting beneath the noise of your days, ears pricked, nose to the wind. How does it want to move you? Perhaps it wants to sway like tall grass, to prowl, to shake the dust from its fur, to fold itself small and then burst open like a startled flock of birds. Your animal body isn’t the place from which you do matrixy things. It doesn’t own a credit card. It has never once checked an inbox, never worried about being late. It knows only hunger and rest, the pull of the moon, the holy ache to stretch and howl and be warm among others. So what sounds does your animal want to make? Let them rise from the belly, from the old forest in your bones: the growl, the sigh, the wild syllables that no language has caught. Give yourself the freedom to express this instinctual part of who you are, while holding the utmost respect for the sacred creatures dancing around you. Let us be a herd, a pack, a murmuration. Come home to your wildness. The meadow is open, and your name is already being called.

Kristikka loves creating a sacred container that takes you on an inward journey utilizing rhythm to move us from quiet embodiment to chaos and down into stillness and integration. She feels that movement is medicine, weaving intention and a rich blend of world beats where it’s possible to be with what is and open to what wants to be seen, felt and moved.
