Start: Tarrytown Train Station | 6:00 PM
238 W Main St, Tarrytown, NY 10591
Please meet on the parking lot side of the Tarrytown Recreation Fitness Center. This walk is accessible via Metro North. When arriving to Tarrytown we will be meeting on the river side of the train tracks past the tennis courts at the recreation center.
End: Tarrytown Train Station | 8:30 PM

Come walk with the Appalachian Mountain Club as we spend Saturday night watching the sunset from Tarrytown by the train station. We will explore areas such as Losee Park with up-close and intimate views of the bridge across the Hudson River as well as Kingsland Point Park and the Tarrytown Light House. Throughout the trip there will be a casual walking pace that will bring us to about 2 miles of walking total. We will take breaks often to observe our surroundings with optional prompts to explore mindfulness during our time together. This trip has the intention of viewing the sunset and will finish just after the end of usable daylight.

Please bring a pair of footwear appropriate for walking on maintained trails made of gravel, boardwalk, and grass. Bring water and some food and any other additional items you may need. There will be a bathroom at the meeting/ending location.
